Dr. Anthony Manning is the Dean for Global and Lifelong Learning at the University of Kent. Anthony is responsible for the development, implementation, and review of Global and Lifelong Learning activity which includes internationalisation of the curriculum, global engagement activity, cross-curricular international pathways to higher education, English for Academic Purposes, and multi-disciplinary degree apprenticeships. Anthony is also a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE and a National Teaching Fellow. He is the current Chair of the British Accreditation Council’s (BAC’s) Accreditation Committee and is a member of the British Council’s English Language Advisory Group. Anthony’s publications focus on academic literacy, language assessment, and international higher education.
