Dr. Rose Cardarelli

Dr. Rose Cardarelli is a humanitarian offering decades of experience in international relations, diplomacy, humanitarian operations, and human security education. She is currently the Founder and CEO of the Education for All Coalition, an international NGO that provides educational resources for displaced children around the world. Rose earned her bachelor’s degree from Fitchburg State University, a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, a Master’s degree in Education and Leadership from Boston University, and her Doctorate in Education Policy & Planning from The College of William and Mary. She also holds a certificate in Forced Migration from the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford. She served as a professor at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., and also commanded the largest training battalion in the Army as a Medical Service Corps officer while serving in the military. Rose is currently the Rotary International U.S. Representative to UNICEF, an SEL Ambassador to UNESCO, a Director on the Board of the Rotary Refugee Action Group, the Co-chair of the Global NGO Executive Committee’s Innovation Academy, a member of the Committee on Teaching About the United Nations, a Director on the Fitchburg State University Alumni Board, a Director with the mEducation Alliance, the Past-President of the Board of Directors for Childhood Education International, and a former United Nations education representative and member of the Executive Council for the International Honor Society in Education at Kappa Delta Pi. Her organization is a Global Compact on Refugees partner with UNHCR and a civil society partner with the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations. She has authored several articles and presented research addressing educational opportunities and equity for displaced refugee children.
